Eagle river coal mine is located in Harrisburg, Illinois basin, USA, with open-pit mining and production capacity of 1.2mt/a. The raw coal is bituminous coal with high calorific value, ash content of 16% and sulfur content of 6%. Due to poor coal quality, a set of 1.2mt/a dry coal preparation equipment made by Shenzhou Group was purchased in 2011. The ash content of the cleaned coal is less than 8% and the sulfur content is less than 4%, which meets the quality requirements of the power plant, solves the problem of unsalable coal for the mine, and realizes turning losses into profits.
